Cllr Amanda Lloyd-Harris

Amanda has been a Councillor for a total of 15 years and currently holds the Public Realm portfolio having previously held Health & Adult Social Care and Education.

Her current energies are devoted to leading the campaigns to upgrade and gain step-free access for Putney Bridge Station and retaining the much used 424 bus service. She’s working with community groups in returning and restoring the footprint of Bishops Park to its true size.  Other areas of work include improving safety measures on Wandsworth Bridge Road as well as Holland Park Roundabout for cyclists and pedestrians.

As an Australian she brings that passion and enthusiasm to the various local community activities she’s engaged in. Crime, whether in the streets or on the Riverwalk, are concerns for Amanda and her residents and she is demanding more L.E.T. officers to patrol our parks and housing estates to keep people safe. Safe and welcoming parks are a mainstay of good health and provide a welcome oasis for borough residents.

Amanda has been a trustee of some of the boroughs major charities which have included Age, Mind and Riverside Studios amongst others. She is also a Welcomer at All Saints Church, Fulham.

Cllr Aliya Afzal-Khan

Aliya has lived in Palace and Hurlingham Ward with her husband and two sons for over a decade, after moving from New York to London 18 years ago. During the pandemic, she joined the National Tutoring Programme to help students recover learning gaps. She now teaches Computer Science and Maths at Lady Margaret School and serves as a Governor at The Hurlingham Academy. She brings these experiences, along with her background in educational software, to her role as Shadow Member for Children and Education, championing improvements in local schools and youth services.

Aliya is active in local organisations including the H&F Volunteer Centre, the Society of Fulham Artists and Potters, the Fulham Palace Trust and balances support for  local venues with residents’ needs as a member on the Licensing Committee. She enjoys regular walks with her family in Bishop’s, Hurlingham and South Park, and passionately campaigns for better park maintenance, safer pavements, and stronger action on tackling crime and antisocial behaviour. While she has national experience in education and business policy, her real passion lies in resolving local issues – analysing council reports, data and casework to cut through council bureaucracy and get results for residents.

Cllr Jackie Borland

Jackie is born and bred in South West London and has lived in Fulham for the past decade. She is passionate about councils helping local businesses to get back on their feet: “Vibrant and successful high streets are key to community life.” In an especially beautiful ward like Palace & Hurlingham, Jackie thinks it is important to guard the overall aesthetic of the area. Therefore, her priorities will be the upkeep of our parks, appropriate planning and development, and pushing the Council to have a zero-tolerance attitude towards fly-tipping. Having been a Councillor before, she is looking forward to advocating on behalf of residents to achieve and protect what matters most to them.

Jeremy Maddocks
Jeremy will be the candidate, alongside Cllr Lloyd-Harris and Cllr Khan, in the elections next May 2026

Jeremy has lived in Fulham for over 30 years.  He has three children who attended local schools including All Saints Primary and Lady Margaret of which he was a Governor.  Jeremy Maddocks attended All Saints Church where he organised the winter BBQ’s; he is a Cyber Security manager who enjoys running extreme multi-stage ultra marathons and can often be seen at Fulham Palace Park run or training with his dogs along the riverbank.  He is passionate about the local area and community and wants to see healthy parks, easier transport, low crime and better value.
