Petition for a pedestrian crossing on the Finborough Rd / Old Brompton Rd junction

Many residents have told us how dangerous it is cross the Old Brompton Road at the top Finborough Road. There is no pedestrian crossing for those wish to go to the northwest corner where Tesco is situated. Your councillors and RBKC Highways Department have raised this issue with TfL on multiple occasions, but they still haven’t agreed any plans to do anything about it.

We are therefore asking residents to sign this petition so we can demonstrate to TfL how important this is, and how dangerous the current situation is. It was via successful petitions of local residents that we’ve been able to push TfL into action in the past, such as the recent pedestrian safety improvements to Redcliffe Gardens. Please sign our petition today and tell your neighbours!

“We the undersigned are calling on Transport for London to introduce a controlled pedestrian crossing on the Finborough Rd / Old Brompton Rd junction, going across Old Brompton Road on the west side of the junction, as seen in the image below. The current situation is extremely dangerous for pedestrians wishing to cross the road to get to Tesco. A solution needs to be found.”
