Many local residents love dining out at La Famiglia - a Chelsea institution year round, and especially vibrant during the summer.
But the Tuscan restaurant, based on Langton Street, faces a battle for its future. A small number of complaints about noise coming from La Famiglia's garden means that Council officers have no choice under national licensing laws but to hold a licensing review, set for next month, which could result in big changes to its hours of operation or closure.
At a time when hospitality businesses are struggling, we think it would be madness to penalise a thriving local gem over a minor breach. If you agree, then sign our petition below, which we will submit to the Licensing sub-committee before the review.
You can also write in support of the premises to [email protected] before 4 August 2026, setting out that the venue is well run and does not cause "public nuisance" or a risk to "public safety".
