We, the undersigned, support Kensington & Chelsea Councillors and London Assembly Member Tony Devenish AM in calling on Mayor of London Sadiq Khan and Transport for London to stop plans for the cycle lane affecting Holland Park Avenue and Notting Hill Gate.
We support cycling and methods of transport that result in cleaner air in London, but this scheme is badly-designed, will result in added congestion and have a negative impact on struggling local businesses.
We urge TfL to consider a plan which uses alternative streets to create a safer route for cyclists, avoids congestion on a key arterial route in to Central London and stop the current plans immediately.
