Felicity Buchan MP, Tony Devenish AM, our West Central London Assembly Member, and the relevant local Councillors have joined a number of local residents' associations to oppose plans to redevelop South Kensington tube station, Pelham Street, Thurloe Square, Thurloe Bridge and the surrounding area.
Please let us know your views in the box below and sign up for news around the progress of the development.
What's currently being proposed?
A major planning application has been submitted for development around South Kensington station - planning reference number PP/20/03216. To view the application please click the following link - but please also do return to this page to let us know your views in the section below: link.
Felicity Buchan, Tony Devenish, local Councillors and residents' associations think that this proposal is a clear case of over-development, and a design philosophy that ignores the world-famous heritage of South Kensington. We want to hear your views.
Whilst South Kensington station needs step-free access and increased capacity (the latter TfL has revealingly postponed) this application is mostly about massive developments surrounding the station. This may have a significant impact on the conservation area and listed buildings that make South Kensington special.
