We want to hear your views, so we can continue to deliver for the people of Kensington and Chelsea.

We now live in central London’s only Conservative borough – and, as a result, we have some of the city’s lowest Council Tax, and some of the capital’s best services, such as twice-weekly bin collections, a boroughwide parking permit and outstanding schools and parks. And we have achieved a lot since the last Kensington and Chelsea Council elections in 2022. Our adults and children’s services have been rated the best in the country by the Care Quality Commission and Ofsted respectively, and we have continued to invest in our local parks, where you can spend time with family and friends, whilst London’s cleanest streets are swept and jet washed more than ever. 

But we want to hear your views, so that we can ensure we are delivering on your priorities if we are re-elected on 7 May 2026.

Beautiful Streets

RBKC is dedicated to enhancing the appearance and cleanliness of our streets. Since the last Council election in 2022, RBKC has quadrupled the services you can book online, such as graffiti removal, street jet-washing, and leaf clearance.

Waste Management

RBKC uniquely offers bi-weekly waste collection services for residents. To accommodate the changing habits of residents who are working from home more frequently, the Council is set to introduce a time-banded service for commercial waste collections.

Anti-Social Behaviour (ASB)

RBKC is investing in a specialised team to enforce fines for littering and other anti-social behaviour, including noise pollution from cars.

RBKC has achieved an "Outstanding" or "Good" rating from Ofsted in 95% of our council-run schools.

Transport and e-bikes

RBKC is the first borough to fine e-bike companies and confiscate badly parked e-bikes, with over 1000 bikes already seized.

Greening Initiatives

Over the last four years, RBKC has planted over 500 new trees to green our streets.

Adult Social Care

RBKC collaborates closely with local hospitals to provide a free and efficient discharge service. Our adult social care is rated the best in Britain.
