Cllr Aarien Areti
Aarien, a proud British Indian and long-standing resident of Holland Ward, serves as the Deputy Mayor — dedicated to representing individuals from all backgrounds and faiths within the borough.
He has led a community breakfast initiative at St. John’s and is a passionate advocate for wildlife conservation, for example the peacocks of Holland Park.
Cllr Johnny Thalassites
Johnny, a lifelong Royal Borough resident, is the Council’s Lead Member for Environment and Planning.
He introduced Britain’s first acoustic cameras on Holland Road, resulting in nearly 1,000 drivers of noisy vehicles receiving fines, and stopped the London Mayor from installing a segregated bike lane that would have involved felling mature trees on Holland Park Avenue.
Cllr Lucy Knight

Lucy, whose family has been based in the borough for most of her life, has chaired the Council’s Adult Social Care and Health Select Committee.
Lucy has worked tirelessly to protect our vital local health and mental health provision, including helping to secure the retention of ten specialist mental health beds for residents with complex needs at the nearby Gordon Hospital.
