Cllr. Stéphanie Petit
Stephanie was elected in the Norland Ward by-election, held on 2nd May 2024. Stéphanie has lived in London for over 25 years, residing in Kensington with her husband and children since 2008. Her community work has included supporting local food banks, fundraising for school scholarships, serving as a Kensington resident liaison to the Independent Advisory Group at the MET, and serving as a school governor at the Harris Federation. Stéphanie has played a key role in advocating to keep Holland Park tube station operational and championing a resident-led alternative cycle lane in the Holland Park Roundabout project. She has led the effort to plant more trees on Portland Road and secured the adoption of Tree Protection for Holland Park Avenue at Full Council.
She has been vocal in the fight against anti-social E-bikes (riding and parking), as well as promoting stronger enforcement of fly-tipping and graffiti, and promoting beautiful streets.
At the council, Stéphanie serves in the Licensing Committee and is a select member of the Adult Social Care Committee.
Marc Goldfinger
Marc has called Kensington and Chelsea home for many years and cares deeply about our local community. He works closely with resident associations, community groups and the Council to help get everyday issues sorted and keep Norland and the wider area a great place to live.
He’s particularly focused on the things residents raise most often: cleaner streets, safer roads for both drivers and pedestrians, and protecting and improving our green spaces across Kensington and Chelsea. Professionally, Marc has a PhD in neuroscience and works in the pharmaceutical and medical technology sector, developing new approaches to cancer treatment and using machine learning and innovative technologies to support better patient care. Marc is standing as a candidate in the upcoming local elections.
